Bought this for my Samsung fridge that kept over freezing in the back. Even when under warranty and having repair guys have a crack at it the fix only lasted about a year until the fridge acted up again. It has been months and no more over freezing I found the solution in this heater that worked for me.

Samsung Refrigerators have had issues with freezing and ice buildup on evaporator coil and defrost cycle not clearing it. This added heater can provide heat to the upper coil and is tied to the heater circuit. Preventing build up and removing any ice with defrost cycles or forced defrosts using control panel rather than removal of panel to access and remove ice. This is not a fix for drain freezing issues, there is a separate kit and solution for that issue.

I use it to fix my refrigerator however, it’s definitely pretty expensive for the very short amount of defrost and cable that it gives you.
