We received this durable Stanley heater a few weeks ago and the first thing we did was to read the manual. Then we hooked up an LP tank, fired it up, and it worked perfectly from the start. My husband was a bit skeptical at first because it’s a small unit, but this little guy was just the right size for our needs. It heats approximately 500 square feet and weighs about 15 pounds. He’s been moving it from the garage to his shop to his “man cave” in part of the barn. I rate this heater 5 stars with no reservations.

This thing is a monster. It heats my whole garage and then some. I will tell you it is rather loud but I already knew that, as I’ve owned other brands. It also burns through the propane rather quickly. These aren’t deal breakers for me because I already knew what to expect.Bottom line: If you don’t mind the noise and buying propane then this is the heater for you. You’ll be taking off your work Inter coat in no time…

My husband is retired and spends a lot of time tinkering in the garage. In the winter months, he needed a heater that would warm a large 3 car garage. This heater is just what he was looking for, it was easy to set up and provides a lot of heat. It’s compact considering the amount of heat and air that it pushes, and it heats up really quickly. I asked my husband to describe it and he said, “it’s pretty incredible!”If you need a portable heater that’s easy to operate and provides a lot of heat, this is the one.I would highly recommend it!

Very well made, good looking, little shop heater. The only thing you really need to assemble is the handle and the gas hose. Other than that it’s all ready to go. It comes with a hose and regulator and can be connected to the propane tank from that grill you don’t use in the winter anyway. It also needs to plug in to a 110 outlet. To light, turn on the fan switch. Hold in the gas button and press the ignition button repeatedly until you see a flame. You’ll need to hold in the gas button in for about 30 seconds. After that you can then release the button and the heater will stay lit.

The media could not be loaded. The heater’s size is practical; it’s a good size, but still manageable to travel with it.The actual setup wasn’t difficult. One hose and an electrical cord are located next to the heater. After plugging in the power cord for the electric fan, the hose is connected to a propane tank. Simply follow the instructions and starts up easily.Supposed to heat an area of up to 1,500 square feet. I can feel the heat while I’m close by—within five feet or less—but from a distance, it’s difficult to detect the heat until the garage begins to warm up.I can see this coming in really handy when the winter comes and I have work to do in the garage.

This product did a good job warmingy garage this winter. Since it uses propane make sure you have enough room between it and combustibles.

I bought two Stanley heaters. The first one worked for one winter. Flames do not stay lit. The 2nd one I got last week, right out of the box the flames will not stay lit. The flame will last maybe 3 minutes before it flames out.I’m trying to return the latest one and they want me to troubleshoot the problem. They have it set up in Amazon so you have to go through the manufacturer and they want to assist with any problems. The problem is I want to return the heater period. No calls, or this and that. I do not want this product.

This unit is not made by Stanley, but by an OEM company. Stanley just puts their name on it.I have a 1.5-car garage where I spend a lot of time. I bought this unit in early 2020, and a few days ago it suddenly flamed out. It does ignite and shoots flame as long as I’m pressing the gas feeder button, but as soon as I let go of it, it flames out. The design of thermocouple & its circuit is very poor, so in 2~3 years it just quits.I assume all propane garage heater does this, but the worst thing about this product is that there is no replacement parts available, so “IF IT BREAKS, IT’S CHEAPER TO BUY A NEW ONE”, which I do not believe. The thermocouple circuitry is very simple and a person with basic mechanical knowledge can easily understand how the “safety feature” works.
