Got it just in time to remove some under carriage bolts I thought I was gonna need a torch for. It helped me zip em right out! Doesn’t take long to heat up. Only thing kept me from 5 stars is that the covering burned off one element after 4 uses and it should’ve came with more. I’ll just buy a coulpa more replacement kits. Well worth the time and trouble saved. Hope the unit lasts awhile.

Did the trick. Is it a miracle worker? Not in my experience, but is a great tool to have. This combined with some other items and you should be able to jmgwt just about any stubborn fastener off.

I tested this unit out with a watt-o-meter on several applications and the max I could get it to draws in watts was a hair under 700 watts. It still does a decent job and the unless you are going to spring for the 1800 watt model that costs triple of this one then this will do the trick. I haven’t had much experience yet with this but the few things like exhaust bolts, bleeder valves, etc I have used this for seem to work well. I do live in upper Michigan and therefore deep int the rust belt of rotted plow trucks etc. lol. If you live in the rust belt then you should already know this is a must have especially doing things like gas tank strap bolts on tanks that leak because who wants an open flame around that?

It shipped quickly. It however didn’t work. Return was easy and received refund quick. Customer service was great. Hate that it didn’t work.

Love this tool! Especially with rusted or stuck bolts and nuts.I’ve had it for quite some time now and it’s still going strong. Be sure to buy more tips. They don’t last forever, but it’s understandable.

this is the greatest thing since the cutting torch for removing frozen bolts and nuts, so much faster and easier

Replaced exhaust parts and nut had 20 years of weathering, I was very nervous about breaking the studs. Each nut required two heat cycles but they spun off with very little effort. Kept to the 2 min on, 5 min off cycle on the tool. Coils did burn a bit, but I think they should be considered consumables. Not sure about longevity of tool, but not breaking those studs was worth the cost.

Worked well. A bit hefty and larger than I expected. Worked well. Operating directions could have been written better

work perfectly

I shoot a rifle competitivly and after reloading the brass a few times the neck of the brass cartridge cases gets brittle and cracks. Heating the end of the brass where the bullet is seated makes the brass soft so it doesn’t crack after a few reloadings. This tool works great for that and there is no flame.

Looks like it should hit up a bottle or not under one minute, but it requires really specific situation where it’s need

My husband just keeps finding new uses for this and he always says he wishes he had one years ago!

Didn’t think it would work. But actually works great. Used it on exhaust bolts. Was able to remove all bolts. No broken bolts.

Great alternative to an open flame torch. Works great and easy to use.
