So, let’s just admit they saved money by using Google Translate for the installation manual & packaging instead of hiring a native English speaker to translate. Fortunately, there are videos on You Tube to decipher the installation instructions. What we must give credit to Reiga for, is bringing these DC Motor (30% of the juice of AC fans) fans, with great designs, and fantastic build quality to market at half the price of Minka Aire. I have installed about a zillion ceiling fans in my 60 years. Including a 50 lb antique Emerson from the 1920’s. Installing a ceiling fan has basically been unchanged since the 1920’s. But Reiga has rethought the process from the ground up, and it works. For example, instead of giving you a grab bag of screws and a chart to figure out where they go, these fans have the screws in place. You simply take them out and put them back in. Brilliant! So, I bought the black/gold because I wanted the App & Alexa compatibility. And you need to know: Smart Home stuff is NOT for dumb home people. But pairing it with the Smart Life App was pretty easy, but you have to translate “blinks” to “beeps”. And then adding the Alexa Smart Life skill was breathtakingly easy. Long story short, forgive the Chinglish. These fans are well built, aesthetically pleasing (the gold is NOT tacky, it’s muted, somewhere between shiny brass and gold. And you could paint it over if you want.) My only hitch: I had it all hooked up, the light was working but not the fan. I re-paired the remote with the fan (instructions said hold down 6hr button, but I only had 8 hr button, so did that) and it came to life. Proud of these kids, truly the next generation in energy efficient cooling.Helpful Hints:Light Kit Finish: I bought a 3rd one for the bathroom. Gold wasn’t the right finish, but for now, they only sell the black and gold version with Smart Life and Alexa features. Solution was fine grain sandpaper (800 or higher) to remove the gold finish from the light kit, and chrome polish for shine. The metal is good quality. You can see my hacked “black and silver” version in the 2nd pic. Also, to remove the Reiga label you just need to cut the double sided tape. Then use WD40 to rid of the tape & glue residue.Pairing the Remote: On my first fan, the remote would control the light, but not the fan motor. Following the instructions to pair the remote fixed this. The other 2 fans did not have this problem, the remotes worked perfectly out of the box.Adding to Smart LIfe: I can see why they are starting with just model. This can be finicky. I am a smart home addict so I powered thru it, here are my hints. #1 Once you get it added to Smart Life you are home free. The integration with Alexa is flawless. That said… Fan #1 I just followed the steps and it all worked. Fan #2 I tried over an over and no luck. So I turned off the 5ghz radio on my wireless. Still did not work. After that, I cut power to the fan (in my case, they aren’t switched so this meant keeping the ladder up and removing one of the power lines from the harness and then putting it back.) After that, paired immediately. Fan #3, did not pair initially either. So, turned off 5ghz, reset power to fan, and then started “add” process in app and it worked. I am not sure if turning off 5ghz in the router was the solution (which might be a bit advanced for some folks) or if starting the paring process right after connection to power is the fix. Someone should try just resetting the power and advise. One other thing to note – the Smart Life app will ask if the accessory you are adding is “blinking slow” or “blinking fast”. In fact, the fan does not blink, it beeps. And it beeps fast, so pick that one.

I waited to write this review until after I had installed this fan a few weeks ago, but so far, I have to admit it’s one of the best ceiling fans I’ve ever had. It’s whisper quiet even at faster speeds. It easily reverses directions with the remote. It’s styled gorgeously. The only reasons to ding my review by a single star amount to very minor complaints which are as follows:(1) the directions are poorly written (or perhaps poorly translated) so installation took me a couple of days, and…(2) the fan offers a stupefying 6 operating speeds but I can’t recommend using any higher than, say, setting 3 because after that, it’s going so fast that it really feels like it might eventually damage itself (which is OK because nobody outside a jetstream lab needs windspeed that fast), and finally…(3) my version has a tiny brass colored collar between the light and the blades which isn’t to my taste, b/c it’s a bit garish. Literally nobody else notices this, however. If you’re waffling on whether or not to get this fan like I was, go ahead and buy one. I’m quite satisfied and would purchase it again without hesitation.

This Reiga fan was gorgeous, sleek, and modern-looking. It went together in no time at all. Everything was packaged well. The installation instructions weren’t very good, but there are some videos online that were helpful. I liked that wiring was made super simple with the wiring harnesses. It was a bit tricky to cram the transmitter and the wires into the canopy area…definitely easier with two people. The fan ran completely silently and put out a lot of airflow. The remote worked well, though we didn’t like that we could operate the light and fan only with the remote, rather than with our two wall switches. (However, you can find information for wiring a fan so you can use the wall switches from individuals online, not the manufacturer.)We ended up returning it because the LED light was very harsh, even when dimmed and on the warmest (3000K) setting. It was so bright that we’d see spots after looking up toward it and then looking away!We really wanted to love this fan, but knew we wouldn’t be able to handle a light that hard on the eyes in our bedroom.

I bought this fan november 2022. When installed it didn’t work. Returned fan and had another delivered in March 2022 It worked for 1 time. Remote does not work.. I love the look of this fan but it’s a waste of money. I need to contact Reiga to get a new remote but no phones… How can I get two bad fans in a row?UPDATE.. Reiga sent me an email immediately and finally sent replacement parts. I had to have an electrician to put the new parts in,,,BUT IT NOW WORKS. I hope I can say the same in 1 year’s time. But I must thank Hong from Reiga. He emailed me to resolve the situation immediately and sent me new parts at no cost.

The 3 52” white fans which we purchased were just installed last week. They are so clean looking, great lines and bright white. We are very pleased with the light choices, including dimming. The fan’s six settings give a wide range of options from slow to super fast. For those of us who don’t care for a fan blowing directly on us but appreciate air movement in the room, it’s easy to reverse the fan to pull air up and across the room. The main reason we replaced our previous fans is because they had pull chains and sometimes one was broken after a visit from the grandchildren. We’ll have to tell them to wait a moment or two after the fan or light is turned on before they see the light come on or the fan turn. The delay is strange but I guess it’s worth it to have such quiet fans. We mounted the remote on the wall, in hopes of not losing it. It’s very easy to use from the mounted position.

Love it !! Its a super strong fan and will blow everything around !! The WI-FI is perfect along with the app… Dont let all the wiring scare you ! Its only one black one white, the rest of all wires just plug in and color coded, if i can install then anyone can. The screws didnt perfectly match the fixture hole but I just installed the screw at a very small slant, perfect !! Runs perfect and is stunning Looking, comes packed professionally in a heavy duty box. Nothing but positive comments about this light/fan !! Worked perfectly

We bought three of these fans. Fairly straight-forward installation. We love the breeze, best fans we’ve ever had for air movement. They look good, too. They are plastic so very lightweight, but from the ground they look very classy. Our only complaint is that they are super noisy.UPDATE: I LOVE these fans. We bought three and I initially reviewed them saying that they were noisy. We have since found the issue. The ceiling mount that covers the wires wasn’t quite snug enough against the ceiling causing a lot of noise. The air movement is awesome and they are now quiet. They look great and were super easy to install.

I love this fan. I have zero electrical knowledge, so I leaned on my brother (remotely) and an awesome video I found on YouTube from Amaly Moreno called How to install reiga 52 in celing fan. That video made it doable and without it I doubt that I’d have been successful in putting this thing together and hanging it. That aside, the fan is beautiful, sleek, and puts out so much air. It’s made it to where were able to keep the a/c 2 degrees higher since my daughter’s room is no longer a hot spot.

This ceiling fan, which was a replacement for an old fan that had failed, installed quickly, in about 20 minutes, with absolutely no problems or issues. It’s super-quiet and moves a lot of air. This is the 2nd one of these fans that we have purchased from this seller (the first was installed as a replacement fan as well, 3 years ago) and would gladly purchase again if in need of a replacement. Thank you!

The Reiga fan I received and installed is very handsome and contemporary. It is quiet even at top speed and has a timer that allows an automatic shutoff in 3 to 8 hours so you don’t have to run it all the time. It also has memory so if the power is off (a wall switch perhaps) and turned on it has the same settings. The remote is automatically paired so no problem there. Light is as advertised with various levels of brightness and color. The installation is more difficult than I anticipated and could be simplified but it is manageable for a handyman. All the parts do fit together easily once identified.

As for looks…it looked like cheap plastic. But what it lacks in looks makes up for in production. This fan is amazing. Pushes air like no other. I am buying 2 more for my living room!

Once installed, the light and the fan are wonderful. A 6 speed quiet fan along with a dimming LED that changes color from bright white to yellow. I am literally debating if it is worth it to buy additional fans so each bedroom has the same fan. The downside are the instructions. So many steps are left out so here are few helpful hints. All screws are already in their place in the fan. You will need to loosen or remove some screws during assembly. There are no directions telling you where your ceiling wires go into the receiver. If you are adding this fan into a house that was built with two switches for a ceiling fan, the wiring will have an extra wire and you will now only use one switch. That being said, mounting the fan onto the ceiling was only made possible via the assembly video on YouTube that was about 10 minutes long. It was a total lifesaver.

I’ve installed 4 of these fans and they are all very quiet. For comparison I’ve also installed a Casablanca and an Aeratron fan which both cost over $500. Reiga fans have most of the same features including high efficiency DC motors and similar aesthetics.I almost never need to run the fans above the 2nd speed of the 6 speed settings because the airfoil fan blade shape is very efficient. This low speed efficiency combined with a DC motor increases the quietness of operation – like the design approach of Aeratron fans.Reiga has continued to improve the fans since my first purchase. They now include a water resistant cover gasket for outside use. I found this cover also works well as trim for inside mounting. Sometimes ceiling drywall is uneven and this cover helps hide gaps. You will need to install it under the ceiling support bracket and add an extra hole for the home wiring to protrude through. You may need longer 10-32 mount screws for the ceiling bracket because electrical boxes depths are typically inconsistent in newer construction.Reiga support is great. I asked for an extra outside cover gasket and they FedExed from China.

This is a fantastic fan! We have a medium/large sized bedroom with a vaulted ceiling. We have only had to use the number 2 setting; this fan moves a huge amount of air. We couldn’t be more pleased! We purchased the black with gold trim. It is very beautiful, and we like the really like sleek stylish design. We are seriously considering replacing our other fans as well. WE hired a professional to do the installation as I don’t do electrical.

This fan went together easily and is ultra quiet. We replaced a 30 year old ac powered unit. This is not only super quiet it’s also feature filled. You can control the fan speed, fan rotation direction and the LED lighting all from the remote. I’m super pleased.
