   Ordered the PWR+ Adapter for a Big buddy heater I’ve had for going on a year and a half. Theres several different manufactures and choices to choose from. But this particular adapter’s description seemed to be all I needed. It does come as described, the length might not seem long to some but it will reach further than you think. I have ran the Big Buddy heater without the fan for a while because simply put, batteries are a joke in these heaters. 4 hours tops and then the fan starts slowing down. Add that up for someone running these heaters for primary heat and your going to spend more in batteries than you would buying a fancy fireplace with gas logs.Packing was fine, you cant expect much, after all its simply a “wall wart” (plugin adapter to take your house voltage and convert it to whatever lower voltage needed would be the simplest description. Not much to say other than I plugged it in to the outlet, plugged the other in to the heater and once flipping the switch I have never heard that fan run so fast.IMMEDIATELY could tell a difference in the heat displacement of the heater. Before you could stand over top of the heater on high with a 20lb tank attached to get your hands warm and all. Now, standing in front of the heater at the same distance from before will warm your whole body at the same time backing you up within about 45 seconds.Again, I know its just a plugin for a fan on a heater, BUT if you own a Mr heater style heater I cant say enough how much you would enjoy this adapter. On top of that, it will lower heating cost simply because of how much better the heat gets moved around. I went from getting a 20 lb bottle filled every 4-5 days to getting it filled every 6-7 days. Thats a real number, I dont work for this company, I dont work for the heater company, I’m a regular blue collar guy working each month to get by.END Result: I would HIGHLY recommend the Pwr+ Ac Adapter for anyone using the mr heater style heaters…….more circulating heat means warmer temps, means less cost. This has already paid for itself.

   I purchased a Mr. Heater Big Buddy this winter for my shed and love it. What I don’t love is having to put batteries in the heater all the freaking time. This is something that should have been included with the heater. Since it wasn’t and my local tractor supply was out of stock I figured I’d order it online. This works great, not the “name brand” one that they sell but I can’t tell the difference. Plugs in , stays plugged in, nice cable length and the fan works better on ac vs battery so that’s a huge win. Wish I would have ordered it sooner I’ve already spent double this on stupid batteries. I always seem to forget to flip the fan off.

   This review is for Pwr+ Extra Long 6.5 Ft Ac Adapter Charger for Mr. Heater Optional 6Volt Power Adapter for Big Buddy Heater Mh18bF276127 F274800.The cord itself is made of what seems to be a durable material. The plug has an indication light which glows Red when plugged into a working outlet. The cord is indeed 6.5 feet long. It comes with a velcro wrap to keep the cord nice and neat when not in use, or for slack that is not needed.I read reviews about the male piece breaking due to it being so small and fragile. It seems durable enough, but just to be safe I wrap/tuck a little bit of the cord into the battery compartment so if it is jarred the main portion of the tension will stay on the corded section and not on the fragile male piece. Ive tripped over the cord a few times and it has done what was intended.I really enjoy having the adapter. I am always using the fan, which means that I’m getting full efficiency out of the Buddy Heater.    This is an AC power adapter for the Big Buddy portable propane heater by Mr Heater.It works exactly like it’s supposed to work. Plug it in to the wall and plug it in to the heater and it provides power to run the fan. Better than worrying about changing batteries for sure.No complaints at all.
