   My heater would shut off around 10 seconds after lighting. I noticed my pilot light looked weak and would flutter. When I took it apart there was some corrosion around the tube where it was joined to the mounting bracket so it was leaking a little, not getting the millivolt generator as hot as it needed to be to keep the solenoid open. Once I replaced the assembly with this new one, it started working again. You only have to remove two access panels to replace. One on the back with one screw and one on the front bottom with 3 screws, You will have to take the feet off to remove the front bottom panel. I included a pic of my heaters part number to help.
