   I chose this heater as I wanted something to install out in my workshop. This was a superb choice. It was packed well and arrived in perfect condtion. It included all the brackets needed to wall or ceiling mount it (I mounted it on the ceiling). The brackets have indentations so you can precisely set and lock in the angle you want. Assembly was extremely simple- just a few wing nuts to tighten down. One thing to pay very close attention to- there are a few black foam retainers that are used to secure the quartz tube during shipping. You absolutely must remove those before turning it on. They have red stickers on each insert telling you to remove them but I could see someone missing this. I attached a photo showing what these inserts look like. They just take a little effort to pull out.A very nice feature of the remote is that it can be powered using a CR2032 battery (which is included) or two AAA batteries. It also has a bracket so you can store the remote on a wall. The manual is very well written and explains all the functions well. You can switch between Celsius and Farenheit with just a couple button presses on the remote. I didn’t realize it when I ordered this but it is also WiFi capable. They have an app you can install on your phone so you can link the heater to your WiFi and remotely control it. I haven’t done this as, where I have the heater installed, I don’t need the WiFi feature. I’m also not a fan of installing unknown apps on my phone. But, if I needed to remotely control this, it would be a great option. The manual discusses the WiFi feature and the associated app. Even without using WiFi you can still set a timer for how long to the heater stays on. They also have a ‘Smart Heat’ feature- but I’m not positive what that does. I’m assuming it means you can set a threshold for when the heater should automatically turn on and off to maintain a temperature level. It’s one of the few features the manual doesn’t adequately explain.The heater produces a great amount of heat- much more than what I would have expected for its size. It also heats up quickly. Should perform very well once the cool weather sets in here in Michigan.I do wish the power cord were 2-3 feet longer. The cord is just 6′ long. If you are ceiling mounting this that will probably be an issue. In my case, however, I was able to find a spot to install it where I also had an outlet mounted up higher on the wall due to a work bench. Otherwise, if I had to use a standard height outlet, I would have had to add an extension cord. That’s really the only slight negative I can give.

   Everything needed to mount this heater is included. It comes with long screws for a sturdy mount. The tilt angle is adjustable and locks in place using wing nuts.The power level and the temperature set point are settable.What I don’t like is that the remote control is required to use this heater. You don’t want to lose to damage the remote.The WiFi requires the use of a 3rd part app.

   I wanted an outdoor patio heater for a very long time so when I saw the opportunity to pick this up I didn’t hesitate.I have a propane fire pit and a small table top fire pit and they both provide nice ambiance; however, they don’t provide much heat and they are fairly expensive to run for extended periods of time. Furthermore, having a propane fire pit already I really didn’t want to spend a ton of time constantly swapping out tanks so I decided an electric heater would be worth trying due to the convenience of simply tapping a button to generate heat.I ultimately made a custom mount for this (it does come with mounting hardware for standard installs) and attached it to a small table that we use on our patio. The heater provides intense heat within seconds of turning it on and is effective out to about 4′ on our patio at full power. If you have an enclosed room that effective range would probably increase significantly.The heater came with a remote that’s fairly clunky and since this can be controlled using a smart phone (see picture of app interface) I’ll likely never use the remote and rely solely on my phone to control the unit.Unfortunately it can’t be controlled using Alexa or Google home to the best of my knowledge; however, it’s still extremely convenient to use via their app and can be programmed to automatically turn on/off as needed or you can even set triggers to activate it (i.e. specific temperatures).Now we can comfortably sit on our deck without the need for propane year round. For anyone looking for a super convenient solution to stay warm in any environment I can’t recommend this outdoor heater enough, it’s a game changer!

   The Pasapair Patio Heater 2 works really well! We put it in the “man cave” seating area of our large shop. We mounted it on the front edge of a shelf overhead and have it angled slightly down towards us. We would never expect this to heat the shop, as big as it is, but it is currently 25*F and sitting at the table the heater definitely cuts down on the chill in the immediate area. If you’re with in about 4′ of the heater you can feel the heat really well. We ran it for hours tonight and double checked that nothing around it got warm, so the brackets are adequate for safe spacing. It went up pretty easily with the hardware provided. The user manual is easy to understand and we quickly changed it from Celsius to Fahrenheit. The remote, which is the only way to operate it, came with a small battery but you can use regular batteries as well. This was a nice addition to the shop and will get used alot!

   This review is the the Pasapair Electric Patio heater. It’s a great infrared heater. Warms up real quick. You can control it with the remote or the app. I find it easier to control with the app. You can change it between celsius or fahrenheit. You can set the temperature, power level and timer. I can feel the heat sitting 10 feet away when it’s on highest setting, it’s like sitting in front of a fire pit.

   This is a nice little portable heater with multiple settings for outdoor heating. The unit gets hot, so I wouldn’t use it inside, but we set it on a concrete deck for feet warming during morning coffee! Can be installed on a wall using included metal brackets. Functions with an app or remote, with the app being easiest for our purposes. It’s a nice little heater!
