Nice simple to use design, heats very hot in seconds. Returned first unit due to broken pieces of plastic rattling inside. Amazon shipped a replacement and it arrived in two days. It also had broken plastic inside. I was able to shake the broken parts down to one end and carefully pulled the pieces out through the fan slots. It works but I do wonder if the broken plastic will be an issue down the road. Living in NY and working on cars all the time I hope it makes some of the repairs easier to remove bolts.

i purchased this to heat up a bolt we couldn’t get to easily. I am a mechanic by trade and watching how some of these devices heat a bolt up seemed to be the answer. Well, it barely heats them up. It’s nothing like they advertise. Pretty much a waste of money.

So had to buy because I was replacing shocks well the shock bolted next to the fuel tank so with a plastic tank didn’t want to use a flame so friend recommended an induction heat tool so ordered this one yes it worked great have used it several times since on multiple different steel and does an amazing job. Does take a few mins to heat harder steel but have ran pass the 2min mark with no problem. Have ran 5 min max because it was on a 1 inch nut on a tractor. Was cherry red and came off with easy. Also should note careful of chemical you use some flash points are extremely high and yes this will get there. But great price amazing product
