The heater unit, itself, is excellent. It is easy and straightforward to operate. In two months of use, it has proven to be both reliable and effective. The unit is easy to set up, but, the guidance (owners manual, etc) required to acquire (purchase) the essential periphery components needed to connect the heater to the fuel source is ridiculously non-existant. That is: there is no mention of the necessary Mr. Heater parts (regulator, hoses, connective fixtures, etc). What should be a simple 30minute complete system purchase takes more than an hour of addition investigation and problem-solving. Look, Mr. Heater, I don’t expect hand-holding throughout my project, but the void of information costs your customers a lot of time (and calls to your help line) and actually hurts your sales—as there are after-market periphery parts available on Amazon for lower cost. However, once installation is successful, the product is great.

Needed to buy a 3/8 90 gas fitting, a 5 foot hose(metal) and a regulator 11-14 lbs. Tractor supply had regulator. My propane man had 90 degree fitting for heater. BTW….also had to go to Ace hardware for line fitting to regulator. This was a threaded 3/8 with gas hose fitting. Pain in the arse.

I live in a 40ft rv and this keeps it warm on just the 2 setting through out the whole place. It’s been perfect on the nights it has been below 40. A 30 lb tank lasts about 3 days when on continuous. I bought this after a bad winter where everything frozen. Has not disappointed. Still going strong.

This heater does exactly as the description states. It is easy to install, one connection and you’re there. The adjustment allows the dial 1-5 to be utilized like a thermostat. You just dial it up or down until your room is your desired temp and walk away. It will kick on and off as required to maintain that temperature. You can feel the heat radiating from the unit quite a significant distance away but it does not feel dangerous in any way. As long as you keep flammables and combustibles safely distanced, this little beauty will keep you toasty and warm without constant fuel consumption. Great purchase, would absolutely recommend!

I was told at checkout that my heater would be delivered on March 7. The very next day, I received an email telling me that it had been shipped. I was amazed and glad that the time period had changed, since it was getting colder over the next few days. The third day, which was Sunday, I was notified that my heater was being delivered that day! What a good surprise that was! The company receives 5 stars from me because of the swiftness and quality of this heater!

One thing I was looking for in my last lp heater was heat that works even with out power. After the gas bar deteriorated from a few years of use I was looking for a better option. Old heater was 30k btu. This ceramic unit will have much more life, better efficiency and it works without power as well. To my pleasant surprise, the thermostat shuts of at different temperatures and turns back on when it cools off!!! Very hard to find at this price point. Has more heat then my old 30k btu unit and pushes heat out better.

We purchased this heater and the suggested regulator for the heater. The pilot light kept going out every couple of days. The instructions say no more than 11 – 14 inches of water. We then purchased a regulator specifically for this rating and the pilot light has not gone out since. Puts out good heat but sometimes the #1 on the dial puts out too much heat. This is in my greenhouse. So far on nights in the low 30’s it has hovered around 58 – 60 degrees.Do wish there was a handle on the top to be able to pick it up to move the unit. It is heavy for me to move to reposition trying to hold onto the sides.

Have two both working fine

Outside of it not being supplied with adapters, its a good source of heat.

Puts out a lot of heat, just be sure there is sufficient fresh air flow in the room, learned the hard way. . Lol.

This heater does not come with a blower. I bought it to use in case of emergencies and my electricity goes out….so I would not have electricity to power that blower. BUT!..I did buy the blower anyway. That part number info is: Mr. Heater F299201 Vent-Free Blower Accessory Kit.This heater does not come with the fittings and hoses with regulator. I rummaged around and found my own parts to make it work BUT the pilot will turn off bc i used my own stuff. So if you want the part numbers that will work for this model for the hose/regulator it is:item F273684and that comes with everything you need 🙂

My neighbor installed the heater for me and I found it easy to work. Got the heat I needed in a cold area of my house.

We live in a mobile home and have used propane brick heaters as our main heat source for many years. We had a 5-brick with 1, 3, or 5 brick settings and the husband wanted something that would offer a more thermostatic control of heat in the trailer. I was skeptical but to my surprise, when you set it on 2, it keeps the trailer around 70′ F. The fan kicks on about a minute after the heat comes on, and the fan runs for about 6 or 7 minutes after the heat turns off, pushing any remaining heat away from the heater.
