The cap fit but gaskets didn’t work for me.

This replaced the end of my heater element and stopped the leak! Very happy with it saved me from buying a new heater.
BradD –
Easy to install. Perfect fit. Saved myself a lot of money by doing this repair myself.

As can be seen in the picture, this came with the wrong sized washers. I had to buy another set (of just four washers) to get the correct washers. The ones that came with this were significantly bigger than the old ones that were in my Watkins heater for my Hot Springs Envoy and were far bigger than the ones I bought separately. The set of four washers I bought from someone else were the perfect size – perfect to compress down to a tight fit when the endcap was screwed into place and the same size as the old washers that came off the heater. In addition to being too long (as seen in the picture), they were wider than the originals, meaning that they fit loosely over the heater tube and are too big for the endcap, and have to be forced in, causing them to buckle a bit, whereas the correct sized washer fit snug into the endcap all around, touching the wall of the endcap at all points. I tried screwing on the endcap with these washers but they are far too big to compress into the size needed. You will need the correct sized washers, which this set does not have. Many people will be able to clean their old endcaps and reuse with the smaller, correct washers from another supplier and will not need to purchase this item. The washers that came with this item did not fit the endcap or the tubes of the Watkins Hot Spring dual-tube heater (the endcap did fit fine, though). Know what you really need before you buy, because if you need an endcap, you will still have to buy washers, because washers that don’t fit come with this set.

This product was a perfect replacement for the cracked one on my spa. Fit was perfect and instructions were more than adequate. I spent more time taking off stuff that was blocking my access to the heating unit, than I did replacing the cracked unit. But after it was replaced, my spa has worked perfectly, without leaking one drop of water.

Used on hot tub

It fixed the leak from a cracked end cap, but it should come with 4 o-rings, not 2. Had to take back apart to replace the 2 at the front of the unit, (from an additional order, and shipment wait) due to them becoming stressed and cracking from the disassembly the first time. Always love doing a job twice!

Perfect, easy replacement. Sure glad I didn’t have to replace the whole heater$$$

Instructions clear. I was able to add the stabilizer bars by using some short 10/32 bolts to replace existing setscrews. First attempt without the bars failed. With the bars it worked perfectly.Great product.
Andrew Franklin –
Great fit good product wish the plastic was just a touch thicker to deal with the elements a little better

I used this repair kit for a cracked (due to frozen water damage) on a Hot Springs No Fault heater. It was an exact replacement and fit perfectly. It included new Red Seals and screws in the kit. Thank you for stocking this.

No different than the one that cracked and failed. Wouldn’t cost them much to improve it, but they haven’t. Fit well and works.

OLD SEALS WERE LEAKING. EASY TO REPLACE FOR A SMALL COST. BEATS BUYING THE WHOLE HEATING ASSEMBLY FOR $500!
Mark Machado –
Worked perfectly for me!

The part and seals seem to be the correct ones, but still leaked after installing the first time. The leak finally stopped after the third install when I tightened the six mounting screws as tight as I could get them. Can I get an AMEN. Also of note, shipping took over a week.
