   I have ordered several of these from the manufacturer and never once had one that was yellow. I’m now questioning it being genuine. Three stars because It arrived.

   Works, but now I need a new thermistor. lol Ordered that from filastruder, the cheap 3 pack I got seem to be duds. Trying number 3 tonight. (fingers crossed) Put in a dragon, to replace the V6 in my MK3S. The colors indicate voltage & wattage.

   For a 3d printer, you want a heater cartridge with a resistance of less than 10 ohms. This is because a high resistance means it is less effective at heating up. This product is almost 20 ohms. It is about half as effective as anyone 3d printing needs it to be. If you are ordering this, you are probably having a runaway error. Ordering this product will not solve that problem.

   I broke the heater cartridge that came with the original E3D V6 kit, I needed a replacement. I was hesitant in getting the 24V 40W, so I bought this product listed as a BLUE “24V 25W”. Please don’t be alarmed, this is the original yellow heater cartridge that comes with the little and it is a 24V 30W.

   Perfect fit, works well. Wish the ‘plugs’ were .05mm smaller.
