Seems pretty solid. Easy to connect and no leaks that I can see. Much better than the old style connectors that are all brass and required a wrench or plier to screw in.

Similar to other reviews, the screws pinning to tank aren’t the most stable mounting, so it can tip over with lantern head on top. Recommend adding your own assist to firm up (bungee or ratchet strap)…the imperfect design is why only 4 stars. Not a deal breaker.

I like this propane tree but it’s rough around the edges so to speak. The major issue I have is the coupler that attaches the tree to the tank is plastic and looks like it will easily break if accidentally stressed. The stabilizer screws are also held onto the tree by a flimsy sheet of metal that bends easily. The tree is otherwise a good quality.

I have gone camping with this yet, but I did test it out home. Easy set up and take down. I was able to run two stoves and a lantern on high with no issues. It holds a significant amount of volume, it took a good amount of time the lantern to go out after I turn the propane.

Easily attaches to a 20lb propane tank. Has a connection at the top that is perfect for a propane lantern. The two additional fittings allow connection to other propane appliances that would normally use the small 1lb bottles of propane.

Only mounts up to the standard 5 gallon tanks. Pole does not stay upright on smaller tanks.

Bought this pole to attach two lanterns and a cookstove to a 5 gl propane tank. Bought 3 different lengths of extension hose and it Works like a charm.

Ok this thing really is king! Dark and Cold weekend was on the agenda for this weekend. Ran a large 2 burner griddle, and 2 burner stove on this guy for hours!!!! No weird propane feed issues even in the bitter cold we had, no frosting on the regulator, it just works perfect if you buy good hoses to go with it!!!! Will be buying a second one soon.

I liked it but stability needs improvement

Bought this to mount a Mr. Heater little buddy that mounts on a one pound bottle. The top mount won’t screw in, it goes about a turn and a half and stops.I really wanted to like this, but it is defective.I will try to get a replacement and will update this post if, and when, that happens.Edit: Received a replacement, I can now put an appliance on the top port, see pics.I still only gave 4 stars necause the threads still bind. It takes some effort to get the appliance on. Also, it has very tight quarters to put the unit on a 20 lb tank. The wing bolts have difficulty going pass the plastic collar that screws onto the tank. It can be done, but is difficult. All in all, it does what it is supposed to do but 4 stars for being difficult to get it to do so.Also, if you can’t get an appliance onto the top port after a turn and a half just stop. Get a replacement, otherwise you’ll damage your appliance.

I love the idea of this distribution tree and was excited to find it. We went camping this last weekend and tried to use it. No instructions of how to put it together, but not too complex. It just took a minute. My frustration was using it. I tried to attach my Little Buddy heater. The threads would barely seat in the heater enough to sometimes work. It’s NOT a new heater. It has worked perfectly in the past with other distribution trees. The heater would swivel freely on the top of this one… some positions would work and others would cause the heater to stop working. I stayed awake most of the night, worrying that it would keep working so my daughter and her two small kids would have enough heat to stay warm. With sadness, I will be returning this one. I wouldn’t recommend this product without a design change to the connectors.

Switching to a 5lb refillable tank from the 1lb bottles is a huge savings. But, with only one tank, you could only use one propane device. This allows you to use three devices, such as a grill, stove, and a lantern. Easy to install and works great!

Just as described
