Heats well on highest setting. Maintains well on low setting. 30×40 barn uninsulated. Takes the chill off.

Ordered this heater thinking it would be a good one. Opened the box and no hose. Went to the hardware store got a hose fittings and regulator for about $50. Got that all hooked up and it would not ignite. Got on Amazon for product support and called the # but the call keeps getting disconnected. Also this product is made by mr. heater painted yellow with a dewalt sticker on the side.

small and compact, not bulky like most torpedo heater, great for small areas.

I got this on a closeout sale and love it. I would have paid full price for it. It is easy to setup and start. It puts out a good amount of heat in my shop. I’ve several pieces of DeWalt equipment and have very high opinion of their stuff.

I have a 1200 sq. ft. insulated metal building with 14 foot ceiling. I had a different type of heater that was supposedly able to heat 1200 sq. ft. It was basically a can with a fire in it. The top part of my building would get hot but only around the fire you could warm up on the floor. I bought this heater after doing some comparing and decided to give it a try. On low it will heat up my whole building to a comfortable temperature in about 20 minutes from about 35 to 40 degrees. It gets into the high teen and low 20s in the high desert of New Mexico. I’ve actually never turned up the heat to high yet, it does a great job on low. I do have a window or the door open for the gas odor and it still keeps it warm. The fan is fairly quiet. I can still hear my radio from across the room. It is a great little heater, wish I would have bought it sooner maybe I could have gotten more stuff done in my shop!
