I got tired of recharging D cell batteries for my Mr. Heater Big Buddy. I ran a 12V extension cord from my solar battery to the heater and started using this DC car adapter. It has been working great for a month. It seems well made and I expect it to last at least several seasons.

This heater will burn through a set of good D batteries in 2 nights with the air flow getting weaker and weaker as you go. This adapter pays for itself pretty quickly PLUS the air flow is 100% at all times. No brainer

I bought this to go with the Big Buddy heater and it works awesome. Such a low draw it hardly does anything to the batteries in my trailer. I just wish I wired my 12v outlet in another spot. Going to add another outlet so I can place the heater in a way that I won’t have to worry about tripping over the cord.

Product seems durable and does what it was intended to do. I haven’t taken it out fishing with me yet but I did plug it into my power box and big buddy and it works fine.

Wished I had found this years ago. Was using AC adapter to power the fan on my big buddy heater, didn’t work unless I had AC power, this is great no more D cells to replace, just plug into trailer dc outlet. It works as intended

Worked for a bit. It had a bad connection at the 90, I requested a replacement and received an AC adapter instead. Disappointed as I don’t have AC in my car, and now my only option is a refund of $0 and no replacement since this was a replacement.

UPDATE:So I accidentally opened the wrong box for a different adapter that I ordered for my son. Product was in fact correct and works perfect. Have updated to 5 stars. Highly recommend.This isn’t even for the buddy heater. Has the totally wrong jack. I was going to use this in the camper this weekend with my son for opening day of trout. Guess I’ll just stock up on batteries.Waste of money.
