Ben Franklin –
This is the same heater made in a North Carolina factory by Marley, who also makes Q-Mark and Fahrenheat brands. This model is also sold as a Marley heater. But a distributor, who puts their name on the Marley, says that they will start manufacturing another model in China, maybe a copy cat. This is all rumor, but the best way to find out is to either check the label, or call the North Carolina factory, and ask whoever answers the phone. It could even be an assembly line worker.Marley-Farhenheat says they will continue to be making the one they put their name on, in the USA. How long? They cannot say.See my review for “Marley Portable Convector Baseboard Heater, 120 Volt, 1000/1500 Watts, BTU/HR 3413/5120 by Marley” for details of why I like it. It is Marley’s model FBE15002 under their Fahrenheat brand name.”

Doesn’t really put off that much heat.

I put this in a 9×12 office space. The heat output is so incredibly weak that you don’t know it’s there. The temperature control has zero effect on the heat output—there is no difference in heat from the lowest setting to the highest.
