The output air from this heater does not seem very hot.

I expected so much more with the heat output. I had hoped the coils to heat up to a glow, like a heat gun or electric stove. This heater blows semi warm air, not hot air. Which is too bad, because it is the perfect size to take to a construction site, or workshop.I wonder if there is a way the manufacturer could sell an upgrade to this unit to allow better heat output. I cannot return this item because I had to upgrade the plug to fit my workshop 240v receptacles, L630P.

At first when I first used this heater I was somewhat disappointed, but then I’m trying to heat a pretty large space. If you give it time, it will make the space very warm, even when it gets down to the single digits outside. Very impressed with how well it heats.

Takes less than 10 minutes to heat up 750 square foot area from 64° to 78Quiet as well, I got tired of using those rinky dink space heaters, I prefer function and value for the money over aesthetically pleasing little black boxes that can’t heat

I have ordered two of these. First one worked really well until the knobs broke and very easily . I just got another one and have been extremely careful with it and the temperature knob just broke! I am so mad.

We bought one from Harbor Freight and it didn’t work. They were out of stock so we ordered one on Amazon. It also does not work. We’ll be looking for a different brand of heater unfortunately. We have several from Comfort Zone and they’re all great, but apparently this particular model has issues.

I have asked for customer support for a replacement. Worked great before the thermostat smoked.

I’m seeing that I’m not the only one that had a dangerously cheap plastic thermostat fry. For such a sturdy unit otherwise, this is really disappointing. Comfort Zone appears to make these units non-serviceable, as their website says they don’t sell replacement parts and they have two of four screws on the control panel of this unit that aren’t made for a tool I have, but a small pair of needle-nose pliers will get you in. My 5000 watt unit is still going and it doesn’t have these funky screws. I guess I should have purchased the $11-$14 warranty at checkout. However, I don’t like the idea of planning for something to fail within 3-12 months!
