This band heater is great, gets smoking hot, I run the Heater at 230 Celsius. (446)F. The photos are of a Oxalic Acid vaporizer, used to kill varroa mites. The PID controller is hooked to the SSR relay and a thermal coupler, tapped into the base. The Band heater is the heart of the unit.

Item was exactly what I was looking for, so far it is still going strong. I did take the time to break it in slowly, although I didnt see any information from the manufacturer that says this is a must. Would buy again.
