I ran my outdoor coal boiler and my indoor oil boiler to this unit. It took three attempts with Teflon tape and cranking the fittings as tight as I could possibly go to get them not to leak. The unit is now working properly without leaks. I am heating a 2800 square foot home.

This thing took a licking on delivery, it was dinged up a bit. The packaging from the company saved it but the over sized box Amazon put it in caused a loose situation.. Not good. The exchanger however came through it just fine no leeks and heat’s as it should.

Perhaps I should have gotten a bigger one for more heat transfer but for sure we have a noticable difference using 2 chillers with incompatible coolant. This allows 1 chiller to give support to our other over loaded chiller and has dramatically helped.

I upgraded my heat exchanger to this boy, make sure you put enough Teflon on the threaded couplings to avoid any leaks. I used PEX pipe and sharkbite fittings for this applicationThis is my first time doing this project, plumber wanted to charge me $700 for this job wich I said no thanks.Water stays nice and hot around the houseOverall is doing what it’s supposed to do.
