Love love love love this system! Easy to install and a very next nice thermostat. Plan to add as I upgrade the other two bathrooms in the house.

My wife and I put together a bathroom basement. We used this product to keep the floor warmer (we created a tile floor). We installed per manufacturer instructions, slab, then cerazorb, then heat cable, then thinset, then tile. This product gets 4 stars for a couple of reasons1) The floor does not get that warm. The highest value seen by the temperature sensor is 74 even when the thermostat is cranked much higher.I did measure the resistance after installation and there was no difference, so my unit should be not damaged. Also the power consumption on this 15 foor segment is about 240 watts, which is not that much. I suppose I should not have expected much heat with such a low energy consumption rate2) The thermostat configuration is non-trivial and the manual does a poor job explaining. I think Warming Systems should provide documentation on how to configure the thermostat for the system you bought.1st Picture: Heating Cable on top of cerazorb2nd Picture: Laying thinset and tile over heating cable3rd picture: Thermostat mounted on wall

The mat works great the thermostat is very user-friendly. Instructions were a little hard to follow for a non-electrician, but not too bad.

So easy to use and install – remember 0.12 x total sq/ft = Thermostat kw setting

This mat compared to others that are twice the price is just as good (got one of both). I just expected it to put out some heat. Really, all it does is keep the floor from being cold. I can definitely tell the spots that aren’t warmed by it. But it doesn’t make the room toasty like I expected. I also wish I could turn it off during my hot summers, but it stays on always. Overall, if you are going to get a mat anyway, this one operates just as well as Sun Touch ones but is half the cost.

This system is AWESOME! I am loving walking into my bathroom and the floor is warm! My bathroom is over my garage so in the winter that floor is mighty cold! I had the bathroom remodeled with tile floors and this system. It is fantastic!
